Winterschool 2020

The language week after the semester break offered all fourth-grade students one week of intensive English courses with motivating and professional native speakers from across the English Channel. For five hours a day, on five days, the students got to immerse themselves in the English language by taking part in fun activities, doing research and preparing presentations on topics of their own choice.

This “English in Action”- week presented a different learning experience that inspired the participants and boosted their confidence and fluency of English. Students, parents and teachers alike enjoyed the presentations and performances on the last day of the course and the advanced learners were rewarded with praise and applause.

What a great way to immerse our students in an English-speaking environment without actually having to leave the country! This week turned the speakers of a foreign language from learners to active users of English with overwhelming results.
